The cost of a night in a hotel is $30.

There are three people checking in.

Each person pays $10. 

There is a sale however, the cost in now $25.

The manager gives the money to a waiter to return.

However the waiter steals $2.

Each person now recieves $1.

With that being said, each person who paid $10, reality only paid $9!

However 3(People) x 9(Dollars paid) =27(In total) 

27+2(That was stolen)= 29(In total) 

Where did that one dollar go?
